Season of giving

Dear Friend of OCS,

“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.” -- Matthew 10:42

God’s people provided miraculously last year during our 2022 Season of Giving campaign. The ‘cups of cold water’ received came in the form of sufficient funds to purchase not just one, but TWO, new HVAC systems! We are so very thankful for all those who gave sacrificially toward this project.

This year’s Season of Giving project is one that is near and dear to my heart. This project will Improve and enhance student safety through implementing a school-wide communication system allowing connection to individual classrooms as well as across our campus. This system will also provide automatic emergency messaging should the need arise.

We have raised $11,000 through grants, but we still need $45,000 to fully fund a school-wide communication system to improve student safety. As you prayerfully consider your Giving Tuesday and end of year charitable donations, would you partner with OCS to provide improved safety and security for our students?

If you prefer to mail a check or give a cash donation, you can let us know that through the same link above. All donations need to be received or postmarked no later than December 31st to be added to your 2023 OCS giving statement.
We are also grateful for the many students that God has entrusted to our care.  We praise the Lord for His faithfulness and the opportunity to impact the lives of more children and teens for His glory! Let me share these comments from our parents:

The spiritual growth I have seen in my child over the past 3 years is incredible.

The school has been welcoming from the beginning. There is a clear focus on bringing Christ into every aspect of the schooling experience. The school works hard to offer parents a network of support not just a school for our child.

OCS plays a pivotal role in preparing children for what's ahead in this world both academically and spiritually. I know from personal experience this school is a one of a kind with Jesus front and center.

Funds raised above and beyond the need for our student safety and security upgrades will be directed toward the purchase of several new laptops. But our number one priority is to fully fund our student safety and security project first.

Thank you for truly being a Friend of OCS. Friends care for each other, watch out for each other, and pray for each other. Please know that I am eager to pray for YOU, too; feel free to reach out to me with prayer needs. I am here for YOU.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!” -- Ephesians 3:20 – 21

By His grace and for His glory, alone!
