David Wells
Music Teacher
I earned my master’s degree in music education from the University of Illinois Urbana. I taught in public schools for years, and I have always loved that people of any age can enjoy music.
I was raised in a churchgoing home, and I left for college believing that if I did not bother God, he would not bother me. It was not until I read the testimony of the evangelist Bill Bright that I encountered the idea of an interactive, transformative relationship with God.
In my dorm room, I prayed to accept Christ as my savior. I have made slow and steady growth with God ever since. I have four children and two grandchildren. I praise God for his goodness as he sovereignly manages my life well, even when I have not.
I attend St. John’s Lutheran in West Bend. I am excited to cultivate a love of music, a gift from God, in the students of OCS.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening and canning as many tomatoes as I can!
