"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" -Ecclesiastes 3:1
New grades, new building, and new name. Many things are changing for our school, but our mission is not changing. Below we've addressed some of your questions about how the changes will be made and what will be staying the same.

New Name FAQs
1. Why is the school changing its name?
A name change has been part of our long-term vision to eliminate confusion about our location and better align with our future goals. Since moving from Ozaukee County to Washington County in 2019, our current name no longer reflects where we are today or where we’re headed. The new name will reflect both our continued mission and future growth.
2. When will the new name and logo be revealed?
The development work has begun and plans are being made to reveal the new name and logo. We are excited to celebrate God's faithfulness and vision with the families and supporters of OCS. Mark your calendar for January 29th, 2026 at 6 PM.
3. When will the new name take effect?
While the name will be revealed in January, it will not take effect until July 1, 2026. At that time, all signage, digital platforms, and printed materials will reflect the new brand. We will complete the 2025-26 school year using the Ozaukee Christian School name.
4. What name should I look for on my Wisconsin Parental Choice Program application?
Due to the timing of registration for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), we will continue as Ozaukee Christian School for participation in the WPCP for the 2026-27 school year. When applying, please look for us by that name.
New Building FAQS
1. Why is the school moving locations?
Our current location is a blessing from God. He walked us through each step of the journey through a story that only He could write. With the increase in our student body and the growth of the vision He has given us, He is leading us to the next step in our journey.
With each successive year, another classroom has been split to allow for an individual grade level per classroom. This has created a need for more classrooms than we ever expected.
Additionally, God has given a vision for students to continue their academic growth through high school. The growth in number and the growth in grade levels led us to search for a new facility that will meet our needs.

2. Where is the new location?
We are currently seeking to purchase the former UWM-Washington County campus in West Bend, WI which is 6 miles west of our current location. It is near the intersection of State Highway 33 and U.S. Highway 45.
3. When will the new location open?
Plans are proceeding to purchase and renovate the new location for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
4. What will happen to the current building?
Several options are being considered but a decision has not been reached. Options include continuing to offer some services as a second location, leasing the property, or selling the property.

Anything ELse
1. Will anything change about the school's mission or values?

2. Has the school been sold or acquired?
No. The school remains fully independent and continues to operate under the same Board of Directors and administrative leadership.
3. What will stay the same?
Our mission, leadership, faith foundation, and commitment to partnering with parents and churches remain unchanged. The familiar lion mascot and school colors will also continue.
